Training

RYA accredited training is available for all levels of ability at the club and is key to encouraging the young and not so young to safely experience the enjoyment of the sea at one of the most idyllic locations in the British Isles.

Quality training provides individuals with the confidence and competence to master a range of skills.  Whether it’s a dinghy, a squib, a keelboat or a power boat our training aims to ensure you are safe and capable of taking a boat out on your own or with crew.

Courses are Club member specific and benefit from nominal or discounted costs for RYA accredited training as well as other training opportunities.  A dedicated training room, the Longshed, is available for shore based training and we’ll even teach you how to use the cranes to lift your boat.
